I know that when you write a celebrity, they normally NEVER write you back, or even send you an autograph (you probably have to pay for it though). But if you send them a bracelet, or a purse (if the celebrity is a girl), or something like that, do you think they would write back?? As long as it was in a slightly large box (so they could pick it out right away), would there be an absolute ‘thank you’ note written back? If not, what is a GOOD way to get them to write back??

Interesting answers thus far, and right on track with mine.

So if you are a parent, would you or do you allow your children to follow through this fad of "designer dog" "purse dog" stuff? I get with clothes/purses/shoes that you can't stop it too much, but dogs are living beings.

Oh, wait...I just remembered, to most kids/teens dogs are just a material item. How did this get this way?

i used to be able to look at whatever pictures i wanted on the internet and even watch videos. i would look at pictures of hairstyles, clothing, purses, shoes, dogs, celebrities, etc.., and now i can’t view anything through yahoo and google images or videos. this sucks
by the way, there’s a computer in my room (i live in the dorms), and my roommates hardly ever use it.

Aries- Yes, I think they are no.1 in leading fashionista
just look at celebrities sample of Aries- Victoria Beckham, Sarah Jessica Parker, Reese Witherspoon. Their style is combination of simplicity but also dare to take a risk. (like wearing bold accessories) so it’s still simple, but not boring nor soft (fierce!) lol
Leo- The good sample of Leo’s best-dresses is Jennifer Lopez. She is on her own league. And it seems that she is the one who set up do&dont’s in Hollywood style. She always in best dresses categories..
Libra= Hillary Duff is one, I can’t think other libra good sample. But many of my Libra-female friends always dress sweet, decent and elegant. They are not a risk taker, but the mix&match always works! Just imagine how much time they spend to decide the right outfit..?
So my favorite star-style are: Aries, Leo and Libra.

The intermediate;~
Gemini- Kylie’s and Angelina Jolie are one sample. They often dress nice but sometimes a wind of change strikes them, like the look of Olsen twins!
Pisces- rarely stand out but they are dress quite nice, like Eva Longoria.

The worst I think;~
1.Sagittarius- Britney, Christina A…I really don’t know wthell they’re thinking when they dress-up. Exception to Vanessa higgins! She wear clothes like libra.

Celebrities didn’t ALWAYS have chronic fag-wrist while toting their totes. What is up with this?
Yes I do mean like the link answer#2 posted. It’s weird though. Namebrand bags have been making clients parade their bags around for decades but this trend of carrying-style is new in the past couple years. And no, answer#1, I am not ‘hurting my brain’ thinking about it, I just find it sociologically interesting that celebrities maintain 7th grade copycat mentality and act like eachother.

Just wanted to see people’s thoughts on what the reason is. I carry huge bags sometimes, and that is the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE way to carry them!

It was 12:00 at night but no one was asleep. Everyone was up because we were waiting for my sister. She was flying in from California, where she had went to college. During senior year she had begged my mom everyday to move to California and go to some crappy college, only to end up begging to come home a couple of months later. She was the oldest of three, so she was most likely the favorite, followed by me, the youngest, and then the middle child, who no one likes. She got whatever she wanted and my mom always gave in to her demands.

I didn’t want her to come back. Everyone seemed so much happier without my sister. There were fewer fights at home and it was quieter around the house. I also thought that it was dumb that we had spent all that money to send her to California only for her to come back and disturb our peace. Convinced that everyone felt the same way, I stayed up only because I was expecting an argument between my mom and her because of what she had done. Apparently, everyone was happy she was back.

‘I’m back!” she screamed while opening the door. I already felt irritated by her high pitch voice. My mom and sister ran up to her and gave her a big hug, while I stood and watched disappointed that my mom didn’t start yelling at her.

“Can you get my luggage from the car?” she said in a demanding voice.

“Sure, I’d love to,” I said sarcastically. Already she was bossing me around. I went out to the car and saw my dad lugging her stuff because she had her heavy purse to carry in. After 4 suitcases of worthless things she bought with her college money, I said bye to my dad. I felt bad for him because he had to leave work to pick her up, and in return got no thanks or even a goodbye from my sister.

The minute I walked in I already heard her talking about California and how great it was. If it was so great, then why did she leave? I thought to myself. My mom had told me that she “missed” home, but I knew it was something else. Most likely she was failing, we didn’t have enough money, or because she realized California sucked and she didn’t want to admit that we were right. Whatever the reason, she was back and I would have to live with it.

“You must be hungry; do you want some leftover pizza?” My mom asked her.

“No, I’m vegan.” She said arrogantly. Within ten minutes of being home, I already felt like smacking her in the back of head.
“From now on, I’m not going to eat meat or drink milk”, she explained as if we didn’t know what being a vegan meant. “I feel so much healthier and I don’t feel guilty about eating animals.”

She doesn’t care, because I had noticed she had arrived in some new leather shoes. Apparently, killing animals for their skin to wear is okay, but eating them in order to survive is not.

“Also, now that I’m going to a different school, I want to change careers. I want to be a businessman”, she said with excitement, not realizing how dumb she just made herself sound. This is about the fifth time she has changed career paths. It was ok the first three times, since most people do the same thing, but five times was too much. Then I realized my mom was not going to like this. This is what I stayed up all night for, but only to be disappointed again.

“That’s great!” My mom exclaimed, “Anything is better than being a fashion designer.” My mom wasn’t too psyched on her previous career choice to become a fashion designer, probably because my sister was never original and copied all her favorite celebrities.

“Ooh! Speaking of fashion, I got these new (leather) shoes and all these cute outfits.” She went upstairs and showed my mom all her new “cute” outfits. I on the other hand, went to bed disappointed.
“Five hundred dollars?!” I heard my mom yell. I quickly got out of bed and ran to the closed door and pressed my ear against it.

“Well yeah…I had money left over…and since I don’t have school anymore…,” I heard my sister stutter. I could just imagine the look on her face as she tried to think of something to say.

Staying up wasn’t a disappointment after all.
